Walk this Way

October 24, 2015 / Marjorie Larner / What We Can Do

“Our own life has to be our message.”

― Thích Nhất Hạnh, The World We Have: A Buddhist Approach to Peace and Ecology

Instead of saying–I want things to be this way…I want us to talk about this more deeply….I want to look at kids who have broken rules this way not that…..instead I am just plunging in and doing it myself, bringing an article or a paragraph to move the conversation that way, sharing a story, just going to that place…the key I have found is to be aware that others might not follow. I accept they mightn’t be swayed.

But  I will have gone the way I believed was necessary.
