“I’m at the end of my rope,” I found myself saying to a friend recently.
“So, now what?” she said.
“That’s a good question. I don’t know.” I muttered.
I kept thinking, now what? What happens when I reach the end of my rope? What if I just let go and see what happens?
What are ropes for, anyway but hanging people, tying up dogs so they can’t run free, keeping things attached, lassoing cows for burning brands into their hides. Not so much that is good.
So, if you find yourself at the end, just let go.
Detach.
Who knows what might be there?
