Get a horse to drink

June 21, 2015 / Marjorie Larner / What We Can Do

“You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make him drink,” is actually not accurate. In the wild, herds of horses follow their lead mare to water. When they see her drink, they see it is safe to relax and drink the water themselves.
