Going on

November 4, 2015 / Marjorie Larner / What We Can Do

Steve Jobs said, “Things don’t have to change the world to be important.”

In this past 364 day of continuously looking for beacons of light to follow to keep going  with our efforts for kids and schools, I saw small moments, ideas, feelings shared, connections made, stories of persistence. I realized over and over again that we are part of a struggle that has been going on for longer than I can determine.

And so, the key is to keep going, never let up on the pressure to push the rock, find allies and sympathizers, people who understand you and as Ron Suskind said in the title of his wonderful book, ‘hope in the unseen.”

As Albert Einstein a genius precursor to Steve Jobs said, ‘Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning.’
