Look for opportunities and instances of Human Kindness in your school.

A friend of mine just spent two hours of a summer day with a colleague who was struggling with decisions that affected her teaching responsibilities. When she left, there was a plan for how to respond.

If this might seem small, it could have a big impact on a teacher’s capacity to fulfill her obligation to her 100+ students. Perhaps that is one of the aspects of teaching that keeps many of us going. Our small ongoing acts of human kindness has potential for a lasting impact.
