When there is only time to deliver content without time for kids to take it in through questioning, making connections, predictions, inferences, and finding meaning, will there be any learning the content? If you want kids to take in the learning, the only way is sometimes to cut back and the quantity so there is space for reflection analysis, talking and thinking.
