All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It pays no attention to criticism.
Thinking about everyone affected by the snowstorm in the east — those who are cozy, those who are trying to travel or stay warm. Tomorrow, I am being observed in a simulated situation for feedback on my coaching skill (not requested by me but required for my work). I look forward to being like the weather. Maybe I will take it all by storm.
And then there’s this….
There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.
Not sure how this particular evaluation will go and thinking about how often teachers are given ‘feedback,’ I will accept the bizarre and inexplicable as part of a natural process. Again, what is, just is.
